BTN- the animals of WW1

Summary- Black

Recalls- Blue

Questions- Red

Insights- Green

This clip was about the different animals of WWI and how they were useful.

More than 136 thousand Australian horses were sent to WWI. Horses, donkeys, camels, pigeons and Dogs were some of the animals sent to WWI. Animals were so successful in WWI they’ve been used in most wars since.

A question I have is that why did dogs have to have their own gear put on? Another question I have is that was WWI the first time animals were used?

An insight that I have is that animals were just as brave as people in wars.
